Mr Osagie Ize-Iyamu has called on the people of Edo to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming September, 19 elections. The APC candidate has vowed to transform communities in the state by Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).
Ize-Iyamu made the call while authorizing a water project built by Prof. Steve Iyayi at Idumu-Uwangue quarter in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area of the State on Monday. He stated that the PPP for economic growth was part of his plans for the state.
Recall that the launch of the project was completed on the sideline of the APC governorship election campaign held in the local government.
“The government needs to partner with well-meaning people from our communities to bring positive development to our people at the grassroots.
We have enough money in the state to develop our communities, build roads, schools, and hospitals, if well managed. People are talking about continuity, but we cannot continue what is not good,” said Ize-Iyamu
The APC candidate also said that his government would offer training to young people, particularly those who come from disadvantaged communities so that they could also contribute development.
