Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola can’t wait to have a stunning move for Chelsea’s right-back, Reece James, The Athletic has said.
The Blues have not accepted to sell the defender as yet, but that seems to be too difficult for Man City to understand at the moment considering how desperate the club need the player.
A football analyst said that Man City coach Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer of Reece James and has possibly added the defender to his plan for this summer.
Pep Guardiola was highly impressed by the 21-year-old’s style of play, while Man City and Chelsea battled in a match that ended 1-0 against City in the Champions League final.
Manchester City remains poised to signing Reece who can also play in central defence despite the stiff competition in his favoured right-back spot including Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo.
Reece James contract with Chelsea will still last for another four years.
