Former Gov of Anambra State and the current Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has disclosed how he lured the people of Anambra State to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) political party.
Mr Ngige revealed that he lured the people of Anambra State by executing all Federal Government alleviation programmes available in the state.
The Minister spoke on Channels Television while lamenting over the APC primaries held a few days back in the state.
Mr Ngige also expressed dissatisfaction over the election that produced Senator Andy Uba as the APC gubernatorial candidate in Anambra state.
“It’s not a case of you didn’t mobilise. All the aspirants contributed money when we were doing the registration.
“All the aspirants were interested in going to the wards and getting people out to support the party.
“I, as a minister, I brought some of the poverty alleviation programmes to many of the communities to get people … you know, to ginger them to join my party,” Chris Ngige said while on the Channels program.
