“I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to do that, to be able to be with them on their journey. The time that I spent with them was incredibly fulfilling,” she told The Cut.

According to a March report, St-Laurent left her position as chief of staff after one year to join Archewell.

“She will continue to bring high-level strategic guidance to Archewell, which she helped launch and build over the course of the past year,” a spokesperson said.

According to St-Laurent, the couple and their foundation will be a powerful force for good.

St-Laurent continued, “I think they have the potential to be very influential leaders in the social impact space. I look forward to continuing to be a part of that.”

Meanwhile, St-Laurent previously worked in senior positions at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Her remarks come after Meghan, 39, was accused of bullying by the couple’s former communications secretary, Jason Knauf.

Representatives for the couple slammed Knauf’s claims, saying they were “saddened by this latest attack on Markle’s character, especially as someone who has been the target of bullying herself.”
