Twitch is currently busy with creating streaming games that will be more interactive, plus trying to figure out how to release its own premium titles like ‘Crucible’ and ‘New World’, we wonder what else could make Twitch stand out in an increasingly competitive streaming service market?
According to a Bloomberg report, the company is looking for pitches for “unscripted” television shows (read: reality TV) which is hunting male gamers between age 18 – 24, and the 18-24 group.
According to a leaked document that was seen by the publishing company, game shows, dating shows, or talk shows that can be produced on a budget of $50,000 – $250,000 per week are welcomed.
At least that is expected to cover for something more preferred than your average video podcast on YouTube or multi-window Zoom conversations but isn’t in the ballpark of most usual shows.
Everyone is bored or almost bored indoors and PS4 and, setting up in front of The Playroom isn’t enough to keep you up nowadays.
Amazon said it’s willing to pay handsomely for content that makes viewers stick to the platform even if they’re not focused on the gaming stars that so many companies are heading for.
That’s some sort of relief right?!!
